The immediate past Local Government Chairman of Fofure and the current Youth Leader (Sarkin Matasa) of Lamidon Adamawa Emirate,Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya extolled Prof Jibrilla Amin as one of the makers of Adamawa state at the age of 80 years old.
Aliyu who is also the Sardaunan Malabu said Amin is a patriotic Nigeria whose immense contribution to national development made him an enigma of excellent work.
While congratulating the octogenarian Boya said he had held the highest positions and lent distinction to every office.
“Professor Jibril Amin was one of the makers of Adamawa, Northern Nigeria and Nigerian at large, a sincere patriot, a man whose penetrating intellect and moral sense added depth to national affairs. His analysis, his anticipation, his knowledge, his administrative acumen and his courage, marked him as a statesman and made an impact on the national history at several crucial junctures in Nigeria and Africa.” Boya said
