The BRT system is designed to be inclusive, accommodating Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and providing better movement for people from various communities. KADSTRA has assured that identified bottlenecks will be addressed to ensure smooth implementation, and the dedicated BRT lanes will run from the Monday Market axis to Kawo and other frequently used roads within Kaduna metropolis.

The project has been thoroughly studied, and its implementation will commence soon. The Kaduna State government has also sought guidance from the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) on procurement and operations, demonstrating its commitment to delivering a world-class BRT system. Governor Uba Sani’s full support has been instrumental in making the project a reality, and the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna State Council, Alhaji Abdulgafar Alabelewe, has commended the government for involving the media early in the project planning.
