A group under the auspices of Adamawa Youths Awareness Forum (AYAF) has vowed to support the present Government in place under the leadership of Senator Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
This is coming as a results of some few individuals visiting media houses passing derogatory statements to the administration of the present government and notable respected elders statesmen in the state.
The leader of the group, Comrade Mohammed Ahmed Marafa gave out a press release to our correspondent in Yola condemned the “vindictive” utterances as according to him ” is tantamount to creating confusion and turmoil to the relatively peace enjoying in the state after many years of panic and anxiety from the works of insurgents.”
“We the Adamawa Awareness forum (AYAF) and all our allied groups stand firm by the state government in its campaign to take out the state from total collapse in progress and development.
“This is owing to the fact that the present government is working, as the development in physical infrastructure is a witness to all, symbolizing the change the common people are yearning for.
“We know Bindow is working, is a known fact world wide, nobody can condemn this working Governor just because he refused to share the state’s resources and steadfastly said the state’s resources will be used to develop the state ”
Praising the efforts of the Governor in making giants strides in roads construction, schools rehabilitation and constant payment of state’s Civil servants salaries.
In the Press release also, they called the attention of National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and all other Sisters organisations to adhere to the functions in which it was founded.
AYAF consider those parading themselves as stakeholders of All progressives Congress, APC, that went to the media as “Enemies of the state ” and do not mean well for the state. Believing that, they are not truly APC members but “sponsored enemies of the Governor.”
