In a significant political development, Hon. Muhammad Adam Alkali OON, former Member representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The high-profile defection took place at the Naraguta B ward APC office, where Hon. Alkali was warmly welcomed by enthusiastic party leaders and members.
The event, marked by a vibrant display of party unity, saw Hon. Sunday Pious, the Ward Chairman, present Hon. Alkali with his APC membership card, formally sealing his return to the party.
The ceremony was graced by an array of prominent figures, including Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu (Member, Jos North-North Constituency, Plateau State House of Assembly), Prof. Danladi Abok Atu (former SGS, Plateau State), Alh. Sani Gangare (APC Jos North LGA Chairman), and former Commissioners Hon. Yusha Mazadu, Hon. Anna Izang, Hon. Ben Jang, and Hon. Adala.
Other notable attendees included Hon. Shina Agada (former Executive Chairman, Jos North), Hon. Sulaiman Tamim (Sultan), Hon. Umar Alfa, Hon. Salman Hassan Dikko, Hon. Adam Abdullahi, Hon. Jamilu Baba, and Alhaji Babangida Saidu Zaki, among other party stalwarts.
Hon. Alkali’s return is seen as a major boost for the APC in Plateau State. A respected figure with a strong political pedigree, Alkali’s experience and leadership are expected to strengthen the party’s foothold in the region.
