Joining the force on August 15, 2002, ACP Ibrahim has risen through the ranks with distinction, earning this latest promotion as a testament to his dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment to public safety.

ACP Ibrahim’s journey through the Nigeria Police Force is a story of resilience and leadership, marked by a series of impactful roles that have left an indelible mark on the force and the regions he served. His early assignment as Acting Commanding Officer of Mobile Police (MOPOL) 41 Police Mobile Force (PMF) in Damaturu showcased his ability to maintain order in some of the most challenging environments.

As Second-in-Command (2iC) of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yola, he tackled complex cases with a sharp investigative mind, earning accolades from peers and superiors alike. His promotion to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) ‘A’ was a significant milestone, followed by a brief but notable tenure as Chief Security Officer (CSO) to His Excellency Bala James Ngillari, former Governor of Adamawa State, where his reliability shone in high-stakes responsibilities.

As 2iC of the Area Command Police (ACPOL) in Karewa, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the State Investigation Bureau (SIB) in Adamawa State, and 2iC of the Zonal Investigation Department (ZID) for Zone 3 in Yola, ACP Ibrahim consistently demonstrated professionalism and a calm demeanor under pressure. Colleagues recall his ability to inspire and lead by example. He was also served in the whole of the six geopolitical zone of the federation and received many awards for his selfless service to Nigeria and humanity.
