A Nigerian Laments bribery activities in Port Harcourt office of NIMC

A Nigerian who prefer to be anonymous confirmed to Tgnews.com that the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in Port Harcourt have turned to a conduit pipe for collecting money from eligible Nigerians who are out for the National registration.

According to him, he was shocked over what he saw today (Tuesday), as they were asked to contribute contribute money to buy diesel to power the plant if any one needed to be given any attention.

 “Am at the National Identity Management Commission now in Port Harcourt and what am seeing is terrible,unbelievable and unwarranted for a federal government agency to be doing that.

“A Federal government owned Agency is asking Nigerians to contribute money to buy diesel to power the plant before they can operate and serve customers. 

“Staffs of the agency are seen collecting tips and stipends from customers and regarding it a normal thing

I suspect something fishy, does it mean that only port Harcourt NIMC that government is not given them running cost or what? We don’t hear such stories from other.

“My brother is happening in my very own watchful eyes the whole place is dark, staff are just cornering people for private discussion in order to extort them of money, something urgent has to be done

How can a federal government agency like NIMC to be extorting Nigerians for fuels their plant for their daily routine work?” 

“I want to ask and I need answers from the real source, didn’t the Federal Government allocate money for logistic to this office?”

One of the staff there who demanded for privy said the information reaching TGnews. come.ng are purported lies and he could be mistaken those doing one online registration for people in a rush to link them with it.

“Please we don’t do that these are all lies, may be he thinks we are the same that are doing online registration for money out side there “.
