The Air Force Comprehensive School (AFCS) Yola marked a historic milestone with its 7th Graduation and 9th Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony, an event filled with joy, pride, and vibrant celebrations.

Held at the school’s multi-purpose hall, the ceremony honored the achievements of graduating students, unveiled the 12th edition of the school’s magazine, The Stabilator, and featured heartfelt speeches, award presentations, cake-cutting, and a dazzling array of entertainment, making it a memorable day for students, teachers, parents, and dignitaries.
The hall buzzed with excitement as parents, well-wishers, and school staff gathered to celebrate the graduating class’s academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
The ceremony kicked off with a stirring welcome address by the school’s commandant, Wing Commander SI Tahir who praised the graduating students for their dedication and resilience over their six-year journey.
The graduating students, dressed in their ceremonial gowns, took center stage as they delivered heartfelt speeches. Many expressed gratitude to their teachers, hailing them as mentors who shaped their academic and personal growth.
The overall best-performing student of the 2024/2025 academic session, Zhinitae vadlya Tame spoke on behalf of her peers, thanking the school management for fostering an environment of excellence and promising to make their alma mater proud in their future endeavors.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the 12th edition of The Stabilator, the school’s annual magazine, led by editor Mr. George Itodo Pascal alongside dignitaries. The magazine, a showcase of student creativity and intellectual contributions, was met with applause for its vibrant content and design.
