In a grand ceremony held yesterday, October 11, 2024, at the Palace of Kwandi Nunguraya in Guyuk Local Government Area, Engr Mundi Ibrahim Musa Ashana, Permanent Secretary at the Adamawa State Ministry of Works, was turbaned as Yahamka Nungurayan by the Lunguda traditional council.
The prestigious title, conferred upon Engr Mundi in recognition of his outstanding contributions and dedication to the community, marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
As a civil engineer by profession, Engr Mundi has served Adamawa State with distinction, spearheading numerous infrastructure development projects. His commitment to public service and community development has earned him widespread respect.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Engr Mundi is an active member of House of Refuge International, Yola, demonstrating his dedication to spiritual growth and community service.
The turbaning ceremony, attended by dignitaries, family, and friends, showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Lunguda people. Engr Mundi’s beloved wife and family members were present to share in the joy of this momentous occasion.
In his acceptance speech, Engr Mundi expressed profound gratitude to the Lunguda traditional council for finding him worthy of this honor. “I am humbled by this recognition,” he said. “I pledge to continue serving our community with dedication and integrity, upholding the values that this title represents.”
