In its effort to curb insecurity and criminals activities in Taraba State, Operation Ex-Ayem Akpatuma of the Nigerian Army has foiled a rubbery attempt at Chan-Changi village in Takum local government area of the state following a distress call received last week.
This is contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Jalingo by the Assistant Army Public Relations of the 23 Brigade Command Yola Major Kamaruddeen Adegoke.
The statement said that during an encountered the troops were able to apprehended one suspect and recovered one locally made Pistol with 10 x Cart rage while other suspects fled with gunshot wounds.
However the troops has also arrested five suspected bandits and paraded them to newsmen on Monday in Ibi local government area of Taraba State.
They are Torso iover, Joseph iover, Richard iover, Orhiga iover, and Austin iover respectively.
The Army advice the general public to continue providing prompt information on criminals around their vicinity to the security agents.
