Adamawa State candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, aspiring to represent the Federal Constituency of Girei, Yola South, and Yola North as its house of representatives (HoR) member, Hon Abubakar Babazango (Abaza) described Mr. Godwin Emiefile, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor as a genius bringing better transformation in the sector.

According to the hopeful HoR member the campaign of Calumny currently going on against the CBN Governor is coming from enemies within and without because the policies he introduced are affecting, and blocking them from the gains of “business as usual”.

He praised Governor Godwin for being innovative and making sure that the country’s Bankers Bank remains the economic hub of the nation.

He said the new naira currency and the cashless society, is a system he introduced an achievement made that is naira gains much strength.

Babazango shared the same views with the Chairman of the Economy Financial crime commission (EFCC), Mr. Bawa Abdulrasheed who said that the new currency is strengthening the Naira value against the dollar.

He, therefore, called on Nigerians to support the CBN Governor and those with the pull-down syndrome of people with good intentions for the country should stop.

” These people are rather unfortunate and are doing more harm than good. It is a pure fact that corruption is fighting back once you are blocking their ways.

“The bad elements are using some people at the national assembly to frustrate the ongoing reforms currently being carried by Emiefele. I must confess it is a calculated attempt to tarnish his image and devise means of looting from the treasury.

” I have never seen a Governor who is more transparent and innovative to revive the economy which is suffering from the global economic meltdown.

“I called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a Matter of urgency ignores the hullabaloo because is distracting Godwin from working.

” This Man is doing well, they should allow him to serve Nigerians better,” Babazango said
