Adamawa ADC Candidate for Michika/Madagali HoR refutes rumors of withdrawing from race

…..says party only pledge to support Atiku not any PDP candidate

The candidate for African Democracy Congress (ADC), Comrade Shehu Yohanna Kambile who is a front line contender for Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency in the national assembly said he remains the party candidate.

Shehu said this to refute what he described as spurious news items going round in social media and some quarters insinuating that he had withdrawn his candidature as ADC House of Representatives (HoR) flag bearer.

He said Such a rumor is baseless and rabid screeds against him are being peddled by mischief makers and enemies of progress that are hell bent on causing disaffection and anarchy in the party polity for selfish reason.

Shehu while affirming to be in the race, he said his party and any other candidates have decided to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate not withdrawn from the race for any candidate PDP.

Shehu in a Press statement he signed reiterated without mincing words that phantom lies were concocted and coming from the pit of hell, representing the fictional imagination of purveyors of fake news and misinformation.

“To put the record straight, our great party ADC only pledged to support and work for PDP Presidential Candidate, Former vice president Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming February 25th Presidential election.

“I wish to use this medium to reiterate that as a party the ADC has affirmed its total and overwhelming support to the aspiration of former vice president Atiku Abubakar to rule this country. The entire ADC Votes in Adamawa State will go for Atiku Abubakar (Wazirin Adamawa) as well as the Gubernatorial Candidate of our great political party Hon Muhammed Usman Shuwa come 11th March 2023.

“The general public should disregard any false information from anti-democratic elements who thrive from corporate lies and begging.

“The good people of Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency should come en mass and vite for me as the ADC Candidate for House of Representatives Madagali Michika Federal Constituency, for quality and purposefully Leadership.” Shehu said
