Adamawa ALGON Chair receives accolades for developmental strides in Local Govt

A Councillor representing Gyela Ward, Mubi South Local Government, Hon Mohammed Auwal Haruna thumbed up for Hon Jingi Rufai, Chairman of local council for bringing out development strides in many communities in the area.

Jingi who is the Adamawa State Chairman of the Association of Local Government in Nigeria (ALGON) has brought a model of leadership in the area that posterity will be kind to him.

According to him the watershed development in the communities that were left and abandoned to self-help communities support after the ravaging of the areas by Boko Haram is something worthy of note.

“ALGON Chairman have turned Mubi South Local Government to a Mini government House with state of the art furniture.” Auwal said

He praised Rufai for prompt payment of workers salaries and has never defaulted in paying councillors their salaries, and pay them their furniture allowances as at when due.

Adamu further said that Jingi has done some many electrification projects in many wards including Gyela, his very constituency.

“This man gave empowerment of cars and capital to many businessmen and women. It’s an understatement to say my chairman is the best.

“I’m also calling on the other chairmen to follow suit and do the needful to our people and councilors across the state.” He added

While calling on other local government Chairmen to take a good stewardship clue from the ALGON Chairman to rejuvenate the state with massive development, Auwal enjoined councillors in Adamawa state to unite in the spirit of development to work for the common good of the people.
