In a join prayer session at moun Zion in Jericho of Israel,the pilgrims of Adamawa and Benue States pilgrims joined faith interceded together and prayed for the peace and Unity of Nigeria.
The Pilgrims who brought prayers of repentance and lementation before God on behalf of Nigeria with the believed that He will show mercy and turn around every challenging situation bedevilling country.
In a short sermon before the rounds of prayers, Rev Shikaan Thomas of Benue who read the books of James and lamentation reminded the pilgrims of God’s power to change situation when people call on him.
He therefore challenged the people not to be quiet but seek divine intervention always.
The pilgrims then took turns to pray fervently in an agonizing mood .
Most of the prayers centred on 2019 elections, security ,high rate of crimes and employment for teeming youths and Nigerians.
Commenting on the joint prayers session, the federal controller Nigeria Christian pilgrim commission Rev Dr Njidda Musa Gelengu and the Executive secretary Adamawa Christian welfare board Joshua Atiku said it has become imperative.
They noted that Nigeria situation requires divine and called on Nigerians to be positive and progressive in their thinking for the good of all.
Some of the pilgrims told our correspondent describing their experience as worthwhile in Israel, that their genuine repentance on behalf of the country is no doubt an answer prayers.
According to them God in heaven has do doubt hearken to their heavy heart prayers and the burdens of Nigerian especially of Peace challenges will be addressed soon.
