Adamawa State Working Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC) have rained tones of the blame on their Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani as the root cause and epicenter of the party’s inability to win the Governorship election that paved the way for Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The party officials during a meeting held at the party secretariat today in Yola reviewed the last Governorship election, court cases, and bye-election and said the sitting Governor won his election on a platter of gold because of Binani’s lack of wisdom to work with the party structure and allowed peace to reign.

The party condemned her attitude of high-mindedness and pompous indiscipline behavior, they accused her of dumping all the APC officials from the ward, Local Government, and state levels during her campaigns, and elections periods.

They lampooned the Gubernatorial candidate as a disgrace who brought into the party array of disunity among members bearing shame as an emblem of APC in the state.

The Party officials took turns narrating their personal experiences and adjudged that Binani had injured the party by instigating and accepting the unconstitutional declaration of Barr Yunusa Ari Hudu.

They condemned Hudu’s act and regarded it as anti-democracy and unconstitutional behavior that is morally and criminally indicted to him and all his accomplices.

From the Chairman of the party, Barr Idris Shuaibu, the Party’s secretary, Dr Raymond Dauda Chidama down to local government party Chairmen they unanimously stated that their candidate was fighting both the high and the lowly of the party which was her main weakness expected from a good leader.

They blamed Binani for the present Party’s woes for refusing to work with the party and preferring to use coordinators and agents during the Governorship election who are not APC members and most of them are not politicians.

Raymond while reviewing the outcome of the Governorship election reiterated that the party should not be held responsible for not winning the election and the court case against PDP, but Binani should be faulted and all blame should be shifted to her.

Raymond narrated the ordeals the party went through before the Governorship election which they made all efforts to sit with her to face their common enemies but they were humiliated by her incantations and looked through their faces with disdained attitudes when she invited them over to her house for a suppose Peace pack.

He lamented that Binani has shown them attitudes of anti-progress of the party who is an enemy within, and said she would have been a more fierce leader if God had given her the position of the Governor after making efforts and invitations to come to the party for reconciliation but she refused, and no apology was tendered.

The party secretary emphasized that From now on any gubernatorial candidate must work, liaise, and collaborate with the party before going to the field of elections.

“We will never go into elections in crisis, we must resolve our differences between all aggrieved Party Stakeholders, loyalists, and candidates before venturing into any election. We will not allow the past mistakes to hunt us to our next line of political elections.” Raymond Said

The Chairman, Barrister Idris condemned the way and manner Binani emerged as the party’s sole candidate and the entire process of the campaign and election, down to when Hudu stage managed a drama at the collation center announcing Binani a winner of the election, believed APC is still strong in Adamawa and the state belong to the party.

He called on every stakeholder and Party official to go back to their units, wards, and all communities to unite and work as a formidable party of victory in the coming elections.

“No doubt about it Adamawa is an APC state with daily records of politicians from PDP Cross carpeting to the Party, we must sanitize the party and leave a legacy that will bring the party into a state of discipline.

“We must stand, work, and unite for the progress of party supremacy. Let’s change the notion that APC will not exist without Binani. God’s willing PDP will be a history in Adamawa State.” Idris said

Idris however praised the commitment and unity of the party during the Mayo Belwa State House of Assembly rerun election despite PDP spending over two hundred million Naira on seven polling units (PU).

His allegation that PDP had used money (N200m) to buy votes from the electorates of Mayo Belwa to oust the incumbent (Hon Italia) from office but only denied the Seat because of money and the power of the ruling party used against the APC Party was the magic that bit APC.

“Government used the money to rig the rerun election. We did all our best, our party has truly worked out perfect plans to win but the government used all their assailants to rig the election.” Idris said

He however praised the outcome of other Court cases and revealed that the party won all Court cases, and they only had one House of Representatives (HoR) member, Hon Aliyu Wakili Boya of Fofure/Song but through the court cases the party got two more extra, Hon Jafar Haske who is representing Mubi North/Mubi South/ Maiha Federal Constituency and Hon Abubakar Babazango, representing Yola North/Yola South/ Girei Federal constituency.

Idris worried over the Senate seat of the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State they lost to PDP through the Court process.

While Sympathizing with APC members for losing the Guber seat, he comforted party members that the party would regain her glory in the coming elections and blamed Binani for the loss.
