Adamawa APC finally sues PDP govt, insists on non participation in the coming LGA election

Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) has finally dragged the Government of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Executive Governor of the state.

The Party had earlier given a statement to media Men signed by the party’s publicity secretary, Hon Mohammed Abdullahi of their decision not to participate in the Local Government area elections scheduled for July 13th.

The Party today in a communique signed by Khalil Sajo on behalf of the coalition of APC Youth groups finally revealed that they have since dragged the ruling party for hijacking the local election process.

The communique was issued immediately after the Party Leadership had a meeting with the Coalition of APC Support Groups today at the party’s Secretariat.

They deliberated the Non-participation in the forthcoming local government election and resolved that the party would not participate in the election due to the combination of ADSIEC members.

They discussed how members of the party were indiscriminately suspended with all sorts of threats and decided to address the issue through dialogue and reconciliation headlong.

“Recognition of youths and inclusive governance: The meeting emphasized the need for youth recognition and inclusive governance in the party, and resolved to work towards creating opportunities for youths in the party.

“Appreciation to the Minister of Education and NSA for appointments: The meeting expressed gratitude to the Minister of Education and NSA for the appointment of various people in the last council members and urged them to look for more slots for the Party loyalist and to thank them for their contributions to the party.

“The fate of APC youths in Adamawa State: The meeting raised concerns about the fate of APC youths in Adamawa State and resolved to work towards addressing their challenges.

“Challenge to leadership on inclusive governance: The meeting challenged the leadership to prioritize inclusive governance and ensure the participation of all party members, especially youths, in decision-making processes.

“The party will create opportunities for youth recognition and inclusive governance.
