The Mubi North constituency State House Assembly ticket was keenly contested by four aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Paul Samuel polled 34 votes to beat the Incumbent lawmaker, Honourable Shuaibu Musa Langalanga who scored 2 votes.
The 34 votes of Paul were described as a landslide victory haven given a wide gap for the primaries, leaving his closest opponent, Suleiman Abubakar to score 16 and Ahmad Musa got 3 votes.
While appreciating the delegates and party stakeholders, his supporters, and well-wishers for rallying around him to victory, Paul assured the APC will no doubt spring another pile of victory surprises in the coming 2023 elections.
According to him, he has been a grassroots politician for over two decades, and he has been on the ground for the success of many politicians he backed with no record of failure.
“I thank all the delegates, party stakeholders, and all my supporters for standing behind me to win.
” Being the flag bearer of our great party is synonymous with victory, that has been my nature and my feat in politics. I’m a victor, a successful personified politician who is not afraid to dare the impossible.
“I’m calling on my fellow contestants to sheath their swords in the interest of Unity and the progress of our party to unite under one spirit of the broom party to bring the glory back yet again in 2023,” Samuel said
