Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) women has vowed to widely consult all critical stakeholders in ensuring peace and unity return to the party as the 2023 general elections are just around the corner.
The newly sworn-in women leader of the state chapter of the party, Mrs. Patricia Yakubu invited APC women stakeholders for a crucial meeting and brainstormed a way forward to the success of the 2023 election.
Yakubu in the meeting at the party secretariat in Yola admitted that the party has been engulfed in an internal crisis that needs the intervention of all party loyalists to mediate.
She cautioned that Adamawa APC must not go in disunity ahead of the 2023 elections as chances abound to win the election in the atmosphere of peace and Unity.
She reiterated the need to chat a Unity course that all critical stakeholders home and abroad put their heads together and avoid a had I know crying.
She enjoined the political key players and gladiators to cast their minds back on Destiny and what God has designed for everyone on planet Earth.
“We must admit that there is a problem in our APC party. We are here to work together as Mothers and bring concrete reconciliation to our dear party in Adamawa state.
“We must be mediators that we work out the process of reconciling Waring factions in the APC family.
We must to the nooks and corners of the party system and reconcile all grief party members. Let’s keep aside all sentiments of all sorts and go about the reconciliation process in earnest because time is not our friend, our limited time from now to the election should be for reconciliation and peacebuilding in the party.
“There is always time for God to form leaders in any sphere of government. Let’s believe this and allow Him to decide the best for us.
” We can not afford losing out from the 2023 election over our individual or collective interest because we have all that it takes to win the election, we are on the ground, and we are more than able to reclaim back our stolen mandate,” Yakubu said
The women who stormed the party office cheering Mrs. Patricia up for her capacity as the new women leader lead them to victory.
Stakeholders like Wale Fwa first female deputy speaker in the state and North East, Anna Sini, Honourable Halima Hayatu, and zonal Coordinators from the three Senatorial districts were in attended to work for the party.
The new women leader while calling on all APC women to support her leadership call, she informed them to understand that she is not better than anyone else here, it’s a call for duty at a particular time that God has destined it to be.
“I called you here to let you know that the movement is not for me, it’s a collective movement for all of us. I can’t do it alone. It must be an all-members leadership. Let’s jettison personal interest, Let’s work on our mistakes and get the victory for our party. She said
Patricia revealed that her appointment as the new APC women leader has spurred many People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to decamp to APC.
She said there is going to be a massive defection in a later formal induction of PDP members to APC on a sooner announced date
