Adamawa Assembly confirms the appointment of its service,civil service commission

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has comfirmed and approved the appointments of Chairmen and Members of Adamawa State Civil Service and that of House of Assembly Service Commissions respectively.

The Comfirmation followed a separate letters sent to the House by the Executive Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibirilla and read on the floor of the House by the Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa during Tuesday special session.

Those comfirmed and approved for the State Civil Service Commission are Alhaji Shaibu Bobbo Hamid as Chairman, Mohammed Abdu Mayas Commissioner one, Amina Kabiru Commissioner two, Aliyu Sadiq Commissioner three and Shehu Audu Commissioner four.

While the State Civil Service Commission has Alhaji Dauda Jauro as it Chairman, Jibirilla Adamu Duhu Commissioner one, Yawale Bultungo Commissioner two, Ngyamanu Shadrach Commissioner three and Abubakar Hamman Commissioner four.

Motion for their Comfirmation was moved by the majority leader Hayatu Muhammad Atiku and Seconded by the Deputy Majority leader Barrister Sani Muhammad Shehu during which speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa who presided over the plenary session put the motion into voice vote and supported by the majority of lawamakers.

In related development the House has also granted approval to the Executive arm for the restructuring of six billion naira to argument short fall of salaries for twenty four months and ratified one point six billion naira promisery note to the State Executive arm.

This approvals followed a request letters sent separately to the House by Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibirilla and read on the floor of the House by the Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa during Tuesday special session.

Motion to that effect was moved by the Majority leader of the House Muhammad Hayatu Atiku and Seconded by the Deputy Majority leader Barrister Sani Muhammad Shehu in which the Speaker put the motion into voice vote and supported by the members of the House.

There after Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa who presided over the plenary session directed the clerk of the House to communicate the resolution to the Executive for further action.
