Adamawa Assembly vows to be loyal to Bilal led Exco

    The speaker Adamawa state house of assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa has reaffirm the loyalty of the twenty four All Progressives Congress APC lawmakers in the state legislature to the state working committee of the party.

   Speaker Mijinyawa stated this when he received the newly elected state leadership of APC led by the state chairman of the Party Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal on a courtesy visit to the speaker and other APC members at the state Assembly complex in Yola Wednesday.

    He said the free, fair and credible ward, local government and state congresses held in the state is sign of startling leadership of Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibirilla and that of Adamawa state house of assembly.

   While congratulating the Bilal led leadership in the state, the speaker charged the Adamawa state SWC members to redouble their effort in working out modalities towards enlightening people especially at the grassroots levels on the manifestations of the Governing All Progressives Congress APC in the state and the country at large.

    Speaking earlier the Chairman All Progressives Congress APC Adamawa state Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal said they were at the state Assembly complex to register their appreciation to the speaker for significant role he played and other APC members towards the successful conduct of congresses in the state.

    He said the large turn out of the card carrying members of the APC during the conduct of all congresses across the state was as a result of quality representation of the present lawmakers representing various constituencies across the state.

    The APC chairman also used the forum by commending the members of the state legislature for their giant stride for working hand in hand with executive arm towards ensuring the basic amenities are provided to the people at grassroots level.

     In a remark the New State Secretary of the party Mr Wafarnyi Teman who is the former member representing Hong constituency in the state legislature described the members of the sixth Assembly as worthy ambassadors not only to their constituents but the All Progressives Congress in the state and the country at large.

      In a related development the leadership of All  Progressives Congress APC Demsa Local Government led by Alhaji Mijinyawa Hamisu has paid a familiarisation visit to the member representing the area in the state Assembly Mr Lumsambani Mijah Dilli.

     Speaking during the visit at the state Assembly complex in Yola the leader of the delegation Alhaji Mijinyawa Hamisu said they were at the state Assembly to register their support and loyalty to the member representing Demsa who recently defected to the party.

   He said the defection of the lawmakers from opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP to governing All Progressives Congress APC is a clear indication of victory of the party in the fourth coming general elections across the country.

    Responding the member representing Demsa constituency in the state assembly Mr Lumsambani Mijah Dilli described the caliber of people elected to serve as executives of the APC as people with grassroots politics experience, promising that he will continue to contribute his quarter towards moving the party forward.
