Adamawa: Binani appeals judgment in favor of Fintiri, S/Court set 29th Jan for Hearing

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru (Binani) has appealed the ruling of the appeal court declaring Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the elected Governor of Adamawa State.

The Supreme Court therefore set 29 January 2024 (Monday) for a Court hearing of the appeal filed by Binani challenging the judgments that affirmed the INEC’s declaration of Fintiri as the winner of the governorship election in Adamawa State.

Sources talked in confidence with the TNgnewscorrespondent and said the court has since sent out hearing notices to the counsels for the respective parties.

In the lineup of states awaiting Judgment, Adamawa appears to be the only state waiting for final Supreme Court judgments.
