The first batch of Lcal Government council areas pilgrims for the 2016 spill over holy pilgrimage in Israel have been airlifted and arrived safely Saturday’s morning.
They shower encomium of praises to the administration of Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for support and commitment toward giving citizens sense of belonging.
Report reaching us indicates that the one hundred and eighty five pilgrims whom are mostly first timers expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the executive secretary and his team have organized the trip.
Addressing the pilgrims shortly on arrival, the Executive secretary,Joshua Atiku expressed gratitude to God for the safe flight and state government for making it possible for pilgrims to be in the holy for spiritual reawakening.
The Executive Secretary tasked the pilgrims to conduct themselves as good ambassadors of the state.
He charged them to use the opportunity to pray for peace, and any form of security challenges as well as leaders in the country.
The pilgrims have since left Tel Avid for Bethlehem to commence the spiritual exercise and a visit to historic place where Jesus Christ was given birth.
