The efforts of Honourable Jafar Abubakar Magaji Haske, the House of Representatives member representing Mubi South, Mubi North and Maiha Federal Constituency for constructing a block of six classrooms in Gella and Sorou wards have been commended by the community leaders and stakeholders.
His policy in reviving Education sector has been commended by communities of Milinda Village, Gella Ward of Mubi South and Sorou District of Maiha Local Local Government Area, Adamawa State.
The District head of Sorou, Alh Umar Ma’azu who is the Mukaddas Mubi traditional Emirate council commended Honorable Jafar Abubakar Magaji Haske during the flag off for the construction of the block of six classrooms which has six toilets and one office.
Honourable Jafar who extended the same gesture to the communities of Mubi South Local Government area got accolades and was described a true representative of the federal Constituency.
Principal of Government day Secondary School Sorou B, GDSS, Mall. Adamu Nasiru thanked the Federal Lawmaker for coming to their precarious need in the school. According to him the provision of the infrastructural need of the school will go a long way in reviving the education sector in the area.
The parent Teachers Association (PTA) Chairman of GDSS Sorou, Alh Sali S. Yaki praised Jafar for his foresight to donate the classes. According to him the school is always battling with growing pupils and space has been a major challenge to contend the growth and Jafar’s immediate intervention will go a long way to solve the problem.
He called on well meaning individuals especially those holding public offices to borrow a clue from Jafar and support the school of its diverse needs of science inclined equipments.
The All Progressives Congress Chairman of Mubi North Local, Alh Kabiru Akilu who witnessed the flag off ceremony of the construction of the classrooms in both Mubi South and Maiha said Jafar has distinguished himself from other representatives.
He thanked the Lawmaker for always doing what is people oriented Projects and policies in the national assembly since his election in 2019 to date.
Others who commended Jafar are his campaign Director General, his friend, Alh Ibrahim Master, APC stalwarts from Maiha, Mubi South and his campaign Steering Committee Members all passed a vote of confidence on him for making them proud.
When contacted to comment on the gesture, Jafar reiterated that these Projects are few among many he has done and more are coming for his constituents. He said education remains one of his top agenda policy a reason he fought and nail to see the establishment of Federal University of Agriculture Mubi and Maiha Federal college of Health Technology.
