Adamawa council Boss prioritizes security for lasting peace

The Chairman of Mayo Belwa local government council Mr Gershon Kasuwa has promised to ensure security of lives and property of citizens with a view to bringing peace and harmony in the area
He stated this at a reception organised in his honour by family and friends in Dibanchi village Mayo Belwa.

The Chairman said security is his major priority considering its importance in every developed nation, adding that no meaningful development can be achieved without peace.

Mr Gershon assured People of Mayo Belwa a purposeful leadership and pledged to consolidate on eleven point agenda of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the development of the area.

While calling on People of Mayo Belwa to support him to enable him succeed, the chairman urged them to pray for the present administration and remain supportive for them to reap more democracy dividends.

Earlier, in a welcome address, the acting Chairman of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Mayo Belwa, Mr Ismaila Enoch admonished the newly sworn-in Chairman to justify the confidence reposed in him by the electorate.

In a vote of Thanks, Director General Gershon Campaign organisation Abubakar Ibrahim Wuro Gi’e assured people of mayo Belwa that Mr Gershon Kasuwa will not let them down.

The event featured Traditional Dances and attended by dignitaries from within and outside Mayo Belwa.
