Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, has emphasized the need for equal representation of all 21 local governments and increased employment slots for indigenes in federal institutions within the state. She made this call while hosting the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Yola, in her office on Friday.

The Deputy Governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to prioritizing education, ensuring the sector receives the necessary attention for the overall development of the state.

During the courtesy call, Engineer Saheed Johnson, the Chairman of the Governing Council, expressed gratitude for the government’s substantial support to the college and appealed for continued partnership to enhance service delivery.

The delegation included the Provost, Deputy Provost, Registrar, and other key members of the college’s management team. The Chairman also offered condolences to the Deputy Governor over the loss of her Senior Special Assistant.

Professor Kaletapwa Farauta assured the Governing Council of the government’s readiness to support FCE Yola and all federal institutions in Adamawa State, demonstrating the administration’s dedication to education and development.
