Adamawa First Lady bags IBDFM fellow award

Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri was formally decorated as a Fellow of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM).

The decoration, followed her induction as a fellow and conferment with the icon award of the institute on Saturday 18 Nov 2023 during the institute’s 59th MCPD investiture of fellowship and awards in Yola.

The first lady was represented by the commissioner of information and strategy Neido Geoffrey Kofulto which necessitated fixing a day for the formal decoration of the first lady as new fellow of as demanded by the institute’s tradition.

The recognition was for her outstanding contributions to numerous women and youth empowerment initiatives aimed at improving their economic status and developing self-reliance.

Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, Chairman Business Administration and Marketing, American University of Nigeria, and Dr. Hauwa Kumshe, Department of Banking and Finance, Modibbo Adama University, Yola, emphasized that the Fellowship Award is a recognition of her significant contributions to humanity.

Prof. Danjuma said that she is the third person in the country to get this Award, following Mrs. Rachael Seriake Dickson and Dr. Mairo Tanko Al-Makura.

Hajiya Lami Fintiri expressed profound gratitude for the recognition and induction, thanking the Institute’s council and esteemed members for the gesture.

According to Hajiya Lami Fintiri, the Fellowship Award is not only a personal triumph for her, but also a testament to her dedication and passion for the fields of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management.

She vows to uphold the values the institute stands for and actively work towards advancing standards and working for the betterment of the profession.
