Adamawa Former Deputy Governor, PP Elisha other notable politicians decamp to NNPP

Sa’ad M C Tahir, Adamawa State former deputy Governor have defected to New Nigeria people’s party (NNPP) alongside notable politicians from both People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tahir who deputized Governor Bala James Ngilari said as a leader of the new party in the state is confident they will form the next government in the coming 2023 general elections.

Seating along with Bappa Waziri, Phineas Elisha in a Press Conference in Lelewal Hotel in Yola, he said both APC and PDP are bunches of treacherous and unfaithful politicians who over the years failed Nigerians.

But he however said that NNPP will give a new narrative to the political beautiful spectrum of Nigeria and Adamawa state with meaningful leadership.

The Interim Chairman, Mr. Phineas P Elisha during the press conference said NNPP is waxing strong as in two days of the party’s membership drive through registration he revealed there are over 54 thousand registered members.

He projected that the new party in the state will have over four hundred thousand members in a few months to come.

Hon Adamu Hamman Tukur Ribadu, Hon Arabo Usman Njoboli and
Adamu Naibi who formed the arrow pioneers leaders and members of the party in the state are all boastful of the party’s strength to win elections in the coming years.

They reiterated that there are many senior politicians from other parties making deliberate preparation to join them soon.

Arabo gave example of his Yola constituency the hundreds of people trooping to be registered are mostly members of the People’s Democratic Party.

Calling on all well-meaning politicians to join NNPP as the only party that remains in existence that is good enough to rescue Nigeria from crutches of multi-facet problems bedeviling the nation.
