Former Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa had expressed his grief and sympathy over the demised of Hama Bachama Humon Honest Stephen Irmiya who died on Sunday in Numan.
The member representing Yola South Constituency, in a statement, signed by his Senior Legislative aid on Media and Public Affairs Hussaini Ahmadu Har said the demise of the paramount ruler at this time was indeed a great loss not only to the people of Numan and government of Adamawa state but to Nigeria at large.
My heart goes out to Adamawa State Council of Chiefs, Bachama Traditional Council, his family, friends and all the people Adamawa State, as we all mourn the sudden departure of our great ruler”, the statement.
Mijinyawa said the death of Hama Bachama came a time his insightful ideas are most needed to help in the development of the State and the country at large.
The Lawmaker prayed that God will grant repose to the soul of the deceased and also give his family the fortitude to bear their irreparable loss.
