In a show of solidarity and support, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has donated N50 million and six speedboats to the Borno State Government to aid victims of the recent flooding in the state.

During a visit to Maiduguri, Governor Fintiri presented the donation to Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, appealing for more support for the affected communities. He expressed regret over the loss of lives and property, urging the federal government to take necessary action to address the situation.
In a symbolic gesture, Governor Fintiri, alongside Governors Zulum and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, took a boat ride to assess the situation and sympathize with displaced persons in the state.
The Adamawa State Governor was accompanied by Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur, members of the State Executive Council, and friends.
