ADAMAWA GOVT FLAGS OFF THIRD ROUND OF NAT’L IMMUNIZATION PLUS DAYS.

Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth who is the Chairman, State Task group on Immunization (STI) reassured Citizens of the commitment of the Fintiri-led administration to Immunization of infants and improved Healthcare service delivery. The Deputy Governor disclosed this while flagging off the immunization campaign for 2019.

Chief Crowther outlined as one of the achievements of this administration in less a 100 days in Office, the reactivation of the State Task group on Immunization. And he called on Local Government Council Chairmen, Traditional and Religious Leaders to be up and doing.

The event which was held at the Office of the District Head of Jimeta and which was well attended by key stakeholders in the Health care sector of Adamawa State had also in attendance: Member Representing Yola in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, who is also the chairman House Committee on Health, The District Head of Jimeta, State Coordinator of WHO, Permanent Secretary, Adamawa State Ministry of Health, represented by the Director of Public Health, Executive Chairperson, Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, among other dignitaries.

The State Coordinator of WHO, Pharmacist Iyobosa Friday described the commitment of the present administration to issues of Health care as a breathe of fresh. He reassured the State Government of continuous support from WHO as developmental partners in the State.

The event was climaxed by the symbolic administration of oral polio vaccines on children present at the venue by the Deputy Governor, who was flanked by dignitaries present
