Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State Monday announced absorption of all temporary workers in the Government House, Yola into civil service.
Similarly, the Governor has revealed that he will appoint Desk Officer in the Government House, Yola who will look after the welfare of staff.
The Governor announced these when he hosted Press Crew and junior staff of the Government House, Yola to a Ramadan Iftar in the Banquet Hall, Government House Yola.
He told the staff how he cherishes them which informed his decision to invite them to a Ramadan Iftar and approved the absorption of temporary staff among them as part of their sallah gift.
The Governor charged them to continue to pray for Nigeria as the Nation is in a trying moment, stressing that it is only prayers can salvage the country from it’s present predicaments.
He stressed that his administration governs from bottom to top, prioritising the welfare of the downtrodden and affirmed that it will continue in that direction for the benefit of the state.
Governor Umaru Fintiri called on the staff to team up with his administration which is geared towards bringing succour to the masses through people’s oriented projects across Adamawa.
The staff of the Government House, Yola expressed appreciations to Governor Umaru Fintiri for hosting the Iftar describing it as the first of its kind and assured him their unflinching support and loyalty.
