Adamawa Govt.Inspects Schools destroyed by Boko Haram for soonest repairs

In an effort to revive the education sector after the wanton destruction of schools by Boko Harams, the Government of Adamawa state under the delegation of the Deputy Governor, Engr Marthins Nasir Babale inspected schools destroyed by Boko Haram in Gombi Local Government for soonest repairs.

Babale visited Government Secondary School Gombi that was established in 1977 and became the Boko Haram camp of operation,where they stayed and launched their incessant attacks, left the school dilapidated and destroyed.

The Principal of the school, Alhaji Idris Samari lament the poor application of students to the school, revealed that the school before insurgents attacks have over 1000 students on their roll call but now records less than 400 as many had left because of the attacks.

“We pray the visit of the Government officials will fast up their plans to renovate the school, as you can see the school is in bad shape “. Idris said

Nasir also inspected GSS Muchalla where inspected renovated blocks of Class rooms by the state Government and a block of two class rooms is under construction by the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) to support the strides efforts making by Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla to rejuvenate the Education sector in the state.

The principal of that school, James Garga (JP) thank Governor Bindow for fast reconstruction of the school.

“We really thank this Government, this in deed government for the people and is passionate to work for the people”. He said

Other place He inspected are the only Agricultural Store in the LGA and unveiled the Peace Campaign Bill board in Gombi main Junction that leads to the Northern parts of the state.

At the palace of Gombi district head, Alhaji Shuaibu Barde ,the Deputy Governor assured the royal Father of the readiness of Bindow’s administration to renovate all destroyed schools by the insurgents in the state.
