Adamawa govt reschedule a fresh biometric verification of civil servants, retirees

Adamawa State government has finalised finishing touches to conduct a fresh biometric verification of its work force and retirees currently in its patrol, a statement by permanent secretary establishment and training in the office of head of service, Dr. Barminus Gayus said.

According to Gayus, the exercise is in consonance with the state’s fiscal transparency accountability and sustainable programme.

” I’ m directed to inform all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), that the state government will embark on a biometric verification exercise of all its active civil servants and pensioners in consonance with the state’s fiscal transparency, accountability and sustainable programme.

” The biometric verification exercise will commence on 18th May, 2021 and will last for Six (6) weeks,” the statement said.

Accordingly, the affected personnel were directed to avail themselves with National Identity Number (NIN) issued by the National Identify Management Commission (NIMC), original of all relevant documents such as; birth /declaration of age certificates, original educational certificates, first appointment letter, present appointment letter etc.

” The completed forms should be countersigned by the Permanent Secretary or Chief Executive Officer of the respective Ministry, Department and Agency (MDAs).

” Other details on venue, teams and groupings will be communicated in due course,” the statement added. .
