Adamawa Guber race: Sen Bindow appoints former Commissioner acting campaign DG

The 2023 general elections have begun to draw nearer in all honesty with people hearing whispers and humming of preparations by aspirants jostling for one political office or the other.

Ex-Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has since declared his interest to contest the governorship of the state building to 2023 elections.

It’s in this regard that the immediate past Governor has appointed Honourable Julius Kadala as his campaign Director General (DG) to serve in acting capacity.

A press statement issued to this medium signed by the former Governor said Kadala will lead his campaign team to all the knocks and crannies of Adamawa state.

Recall that Julius was a commissioner of Education and served the administration of Senator Bindow during his 2015 to 2019 tenure.

Julius is a renowned All Progressives Congress, APC, critical stakeholder and hailed from Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

When contacted by our correspondent, Kadala said is honored to have this rare opportunity to bring back APC on track and take over the administrative wheels of the state.

According to him, Bindow remains the most marketable aspirant with high chances of APC to displace PDP Government in the state in 2023.

He revealed soon a plan of events that will serve as a guideline and an itinerary to campaign for the second return of Jibralla shall be announced.
