It was a jumbo and leviathan gathering of Masses from five local governments of Hong who have pressed demands on Hon Bathiya Wesley, the member representing Hong Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly continue his good works.
Honorable Bathiya said that his constituents have made genuine demands for continuity of his good works, and he can’t likewise turn their demands for his reasons.
He said this while declaring his interest to contest again in order to consolidate legacies that will keep the constituency at the threshold of development in the state.
He called the people of the area, critical stakeholders in PDP, and outside PDP to support him in the interest of all people of the area.
Bathiya who is an incumbent Lawmaker under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, according to Faisal Fadaman Rake has over the last three years given a purposeful representation to his constituents that outshines previous regimes of past lawmakers.
The mammoth crowd on Wednesday at the PDP party Secretariat in Hong has shown much solidarity to welcome back their son for continuity, our reporter observed.
While addressing the elephantine gathering, a PDP supporter, Aliyu Abdullahi said it has never been such since the return of democracy for a lawmaker of the same status as Wesley.
He said Wesley has bitten them all in terms of good representation and carrying all people irrespective of Party, religion, or even where he or she is coming from.
“As you can see,this is not hired crowd, today we came out in mass to tell the world that we are comfortable with the representation of Bathiya and we need him again to continue the good work that has started,” Aliyu said
Aliyu praised Wesley, one of the young lawmakers in the state Assembly to have worked many bills into law, passed resolutions, and given immense contributions to the development of Adamawa state.
According to him in terms of empowerment, Honourable Wesley has empowered hundreds of people across the five wards, especially the Youth and women of the areas.
He said Bathiya is their option A, B, C, and the last option that cannot be replaced with anyone in and outside PDP.
