Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday restated the commitment of the government to payback politicians who worked hard for the victory of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The Governor revealed this during a stakeholders meeting of the PDP which held in the Banquet Hall Government House, Yola.
He asked the stakeholders to go back to their respective areas to select ten to twenty persons with emphasis on youths and women in each of the 21 local government areas for subsequent political appointments.
Governor Fintiri reminded the stakeholders to consider hard work as a criteria for the selection and it should be done without any element of selfishness.
Irrespective of their actions or inactions, Governor Fintiri urged party members to come together as their support and expertise are needed for the overall interest of the state.
He said having garnered the requisite experience in the first tenure, his present administration will work hard for the betterment of all and sundry across Adamawa.
The State Chairman of PDP, Barrister Tahir Shehu said the first tenure of the Fintiri administration has touched the lives of the people especially in the areas of security and peaceful coexistence.
He called on party members to support the second term administration and to be patient as whatever is destined for them will come as according to him nobody would change destiny.
