Kamwe, a tribe otherwise known as Higgi and well addressed as Michika,in the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State have graciously decorated Senator Ishaku Abbo (Cliff) SIA with the Lion and Warrior that Will protect their interests wherever, whenever it becomes necessary and duty calls.
The people who are indigenes of Michika Local Government area of Adamawa State and are residing in Girei LGA of the state under the Umbrella body of Higgi Development Association ( HDI), Girei branch said Abbo is one of their own considering how Higgi and Fali having the same history chronology.
One of the Elders, Engr. John Kadzai in a brief history, he chronicled how Kamwe people traced their recent ancestry and migration from Sukur Kingdom around 1600 where the Fali people also Migrated from hundred of years later.
Kamwe People while honoring Abbo with the Lion tittle of the protector of Kamwe, it was a colorful event with cultural dances of Kamwe coming from different wards of Girei LGA such as Viniklang, Bajabure, Girei, Jabbi lamba among others.
Kamwe People who are one of the biggest ethnic nationalities in Northern Nigeria and the political numeric strength in Adamawa described Senator Ishaku Abbo as one of their own that they so cherished.
Abbo took to his widely followed Facebook verified page thanked the people for such an historic honor, an award he promised to cherished for the rest of his life.
He vowed to further the cause of Higgi people anywhere in the world and Indeed for the betterment of humanity as he is known anywhere in the world.
