In a significant development, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa State Chapter has announced the endorsement of Hon. Babangida Philimon as the substantive APC Chairman of Lamurde Local Government.
Memo received from Lamurde Local Government, signed by 18 Local Government Exco members, 9 ward chairmen, and 28 stakeholders, all of whom expressed their support for Philimon to replace the late Ibrahim Mohammed (Mamman Zuru)
This decision was made following a memo received from Lamurde Local Government, signed by 18 Local Government Exco members, 9 ward chairmen, and 28 stakeholders, all of whom expressed their support for Philimon to replace the late Ibrahim Mohammed (Mamman Zuru).
The State Working Committee (SWC), led by Barr. Idris Shuaibu, has officially endorsed Philimon’s appointment, confirming him as the new APC Chairman of Lamurde Local Government. This move is expected to bring stability and continuity to the party’s operations in the region.
According to Hon. Mohammed Abdullahi, the State Publicity Secretary, the endorsement is a significant step forward for the party, and Philimon’s leadership is expected to strengthen the APC’s presence in Adamawa State.
