Adamawa Lawmaker representing Demsa constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Lumsambani Mijah Dilli has today bagged the National Democrat award.
A group of Northern Youths under the auspices of North-East Youths council of Nigeria whose motto portrays Youth orientation for good governance and peaceful coexistence.
The apex umbrella body of youth cutting across six states within the north east namely Yobe,Adamawa, Gombe,Bauchi, Taraba and Borno are recognizing people with ingenuity,selfless and visionary leadership qualities.
The president of the Association while reading the citation of Hon Dilli, Comrade Aliyu Aaron Said the nomination was conceived base on his strides of lawmaking in the House of assembly and his support of humanity capacity development in Demsa and Adamawa state.
“Sir,Your contributions to the development of the Nigerian society through preaching Peace, unity and harmony; visionary leadership drive, professionalism,unclouded treatment of all and sundry and your absolute humility has remained unchallenged, both in public and private sector.
” You have no doubt achieved very greatly in nation building, youths empowerment integrity focussed leadership, education development quality assurance as well as mentorship. And the greatest achievement of all is evident in the people who have successfully achieved greatness through your mentorship.” Aaron said
Aaron continue to say that Mijah today is an icon who contributed his quota by given the society the excellent representation amidst uncertainties and very scarce resources. This has made him nothing less than an unadulterated reverence from both young and old.
The award of excellence presented to him at his office in ADHA complex is to announce to the world that Dilli is now a “National Democrat”
On presenting the award, Aaron said:
“Today we once again emblazon a foremost icon of national and international repute, a Man who can only be termed a solution to some of the puzzle of rancor and cacophony in the leadership of his constituency and Adamawa state at large.”
In his response, Hon Dilli stressed that his selfless service to his constituency can never be bargain with anything precious in the world, dedicating the award to the executive governor of Adamawa state, Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for his good course in developing the state, the speaker of the House, Rt Hon Kabiru Mijinyawa and his honourable colleagues for their unity of purpose to grow Adamawa state.
In a passionate mode he thank the entire people of his constituency for given him the opportunity to serve them.
