Adamawa lawmaker turns fellow member of ESMI,honors with Award of Environmental expert

Adamawa Lawmaker representing Shelleng constituency of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Isa Abubakar has turned a fellow member of the Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI).

Isa who is an expert in environmental resources management,safety and security has last weekend bagged and honored with an award as a trained Geographer

The Lawmaker, a ranking legislator in making laws, passing motions and bills, resolutions and making meaningful contributions for the people of Adamawa state bagged the award because of the services he rendered while he was
a former staff of the Federal Ministry of Environment, Headquarters Abuja.

Born 17th May 1975, Alumni member of the Federal university of technology Yola (FUTY), now Modibbo Adama University (MAU) and University of Abuja respectively.

Abubakar had a glowing civil service career haven Started his work at the office of the Head of Service of the Federation where he served for three years before moving to the Federal Ministry of Environment..

Haven put about a decade working with the Federal Government,designated at the Ministry of Environment before picking up political appointments with the previous Adamawa state government under the Administration of Murtala Nyako.

Isa elected member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly by his constituents who saw good representation qualities in him.

Being an arrow head member of the House from APC which is the minority party, He has served as House committee member on Environment and other strategic committees that focuses on human and environmental safety, presently serving many committees as chairman and vice chairman.
