An Adamawa based female lawyer who has being an advocate of good governance and propagating the affirmative bill of gender equality,Barr Jamila Babuba has become a “lime light world” celebrity woman and recognized by the North East People’s choice Humanitarian Award (NOPCHA) of excellence.
NOPCHA present 2019 award to Babuba as the best female politician in the whole of Northern region owing to the fact that her short time into partisan politics she leverage in the virtues of Youths empowerment and crusading the inclusion of women in the governing affairs of this country.
Jamila who once aspired to be a lawmaker at the National Assembly at one point served became a front runner,closely work with Mrs Aisha Buhari Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team.
Building up to 2019 election,Jamila was also actively involved in struggle to bring President Muhammadu Buhari back and was among the National Committee for Buhari Support Group NCBSG,and fully participated,supported the ambition of the former Governor of Adamawa state,Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
Service to humanity is a call seen in Jamila,a Young woman with the heart of gold who is presently the only female with three traditional titles of Gimbiyar Njoboliyo,Jarumar Jimeta and Tauraruwar Chika Soro Yola,Adamawa.
Her penchant desire to see the Nigerian Youths and women being liberated from the crutches of poverty has endeared her to give all in support of Adamawa Youths and became a grassroot politicians and social mobilizer.
Babuba short time stay in politics has deradicalized so many youths who were seen and constituted themselves to social menace to a more productive Young Nigerians and adding value to the society.
It’s this journey down the line of service to humanity that the servitude spirit in Jamila endeared NOPCHA to see her as the best 2019 female politician in the whole of Northern region.
Comrade Abdul Aliyu,SSA to Governor of Taraba on Youth mobilization while presenting the award said the like of Jamila are few in this time Where hardworking Young women are scarce and rare to see by.
According to him,the name Jamila was penciled down for the recognition after thorough assessment by a special committee and a vote was cast for her nomination.
He revealed that base on the organization ways of judgment she came out the best among many nominees because of her uniqueness in fighting for the downtrodden,the less privileged,youths and women who are most vulnerable in the society.
“Her fight for gender equalities and struggling to call the attention of the government to allow women to have equal rights and opportunities abounds in the country is Worthy of note.” He said
