There seems to be a tension brewing at the Madagali Local Government Council Secretariat as the Chairman, Mr Edean Tskwam faced impeachment threats by the council legislators.
The leader of the House, Gambo Zamdayu in a telephone interview told this medium that the chairman has been high minded and leading the council with all sense of impunity, failed to fulfilled all promises made to the people of the council.

For this reasons according to him nine councillors out of ten have signed a warning letter and served the chairman, gave him seven days ultimatum to fulfilled all promises made to them or to face impeachment.
“The Chairman has promised our people good dividends of democracy and promised we the councilors our legislative but he has not fulfil a single promise.
” We gave him seven days ultimatum to do the needful else we will use our power as council legislators to do the needful when we take a unanimous decision as council members.” Gambo said
Another principal officer who does not want his name be mentioned also emphasized that their decision is to allow separation of powers to take it full course in the Local Government.
He worried that the Chairman has been ruling with all sense of impunity at the detriment of the people of Madagali.
“We gave him seven days ultimatum to either stand up and work for our people by fulfilling promises made to them or face impeachment.” Goni said
All efforts to get across the Chairman, Edean Tskwam prove abortive as his line is saying busy after many trials.
