The Adamawa State Chapter of Inter -Party Advisory council (IPAC) said the State’s Independent Electoral commission (ADSIEC) have collaborated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rig the Local Government elections in favor of the ruling party in the state.
In a release presented to Journalist at the National Union of Journalist (NUJ) in Yola, containing that:”In all the 21 Local Government, there is nowhere the elections started as scheduled and the materials for the election were horded for the APC use only”
According to the release signed by the chairperson, Mallam Sa’ad Adamu that is very few were made available in some few units, base on received they received from their various representatives that sensitive materials meant for the elections has not reached their destinations, therefore elections didn’t hold at all and where it hold materials were short charged at the polling units.
The release further said that :”ADSIEC failed woefully in its preparation toward this elections because from day one they were not sincere “.
It continued to reads that : “In the spirit of fair play we call on ADSIEC to out rightly cancel the so -called election and prepare for a fresh one where all state holders will participate in the preparation”
