… funeral prayers to hold at national mosque, 08 Thursday 2024
The death was announced of Major General Garba Hong (Rtd) who held from Hong Local Government area of Adamawa State.
His death occured Wednesday at ceder Crest Hospital Abuja after a brief illness.

Air Cdre (rtd) said Garba a member of 32nd Cse, CSC 23 and NIPSS was an Artlery Officer.
The statement Read that Garba held several appointments including Brigade Commander, General Staff and was a Defense Attache in Brazil. Garba held the highest appointment in the Artillery (Commander Corps of Artillery) and was Military Secretary (Army).
According to the statement Garba was a retired Gallant General and fulfilled farmer, late Garba is survived by his aged mother, wife Hajiya Zainab, a sister and brothers. We his Cse Mates will miss him. He was a jovial yet very religious Muslim.
And the Funeral prayer will on Thurs 08 Feb 24 at National Mosque at 1330 hrs. Burial follows at Gudu Cemetery immediately after.
