Adamawa State House of Assembly on Wednesday, passed a bill for a law to increase the retirement years and other allowances for media workers so as to enhance their condition of the service.
The bill is seeking to increase the retirement years from 35 to 40 by service and 60 to 65 by age and other allowances for media workers so as to enhance their condition of the service for effective performance.
The passage of the bill followed a motion for its third reading by the majority leader, Hon. Hammantukur Yettisuri during today’s plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas.
The motion was seconded by Hon. Simon Isa(Song).
