… State Chairman commends NSA Ribadu, Education Minister,Tahir for their constant support
The Adamawa chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Alhaji Kabiru Akilu as the substantive party chairman for Mubi North local government area.
Spokesperson of the party, Malam Mohammed Abdullahi who told newsmen in Yola on Thursday, said the appointment was unanimously endorsed by the State Working Committee of the party was sequel to the death of the former chairman of the party, Alhaji Usman Isah-Sarkin Mudu
In his remarks, the State chairman of the party Alhaji Idris Shuaibu, has called on the chairman to be discipline,obedient and respect the rules of the party.
He said , ” We expect you to use your wealth of experience in promoting unity and solidarity among the party members by bringing them under one shade.
He however used the occasion to commend the National Security Adviser (NSA) Malam Nuhu Ribadu and the Minister of Education Prof Tahir Mamman for their regular support to the party.
” These two gentlemen are exceptional considering their unwavering support to the state chapter of the party” he said.
Responding after taking the Oath of allegiance snd office the new LGA chairman had pledged his unconditional loyalty to the party while assuring that he would run an inclusive leadership.
