An activist for good governance who lives in Jimeta-Yola Adamawa state, Comrade Barde Adamu condemn the behavior of People’s Democracy party candidate, Mr Elisha Abbo Cliff who in his Facebook page seen to declared himself winner of Saturday’s senatorial election in Northern part of the State.
Adamu said Cliff committed a crime against the constitution of the country that contravened the electoral laws.
According to himself INEC is the only constitutional body that has the mandate of declaring who wins an elections in a given contest.
He is calling on the authority concern to call Abbo to order to void the glorification of fake news that can ignite crisis.
“The young man is just too zest and over anxious to be the next senator under false pretense.
” How can you presumed success when you feel you are in control of two LGAs out five in the senatorial zone?
“While the story is coming from other quarters is showing that APC is overwhelming leading in the three LGAs, at whatever level no body is permitted to declare himself a winner.” Adamu said
