Adamawa Northern Zone: Hamisu garner massive support as he declares interest to contest Senate seat

Ward party officials of Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika, and Madagali have welcomed Hamisu Idris Medugu’s idea to contest the Senate seat of the five local areas of Adamawa State representing Northern Senatorial district.

Hamisu who toured the five local government areas and declared his intention to aspire to be the next Senator that will represent the area under the banner of All progressives congress (APC) got the endorsement of the excos.

Idris soliciting for votes

The Party leaders said Medugu’s idea genuine being the first person to gather all of them from ward to local government levels to declare his good tidings representing them at the Senate chambers of the National Assembly.

The official declaration of interest to contest for the Legislative Seat of Adamawa Northern zone by Idris has elated so many of them, he assured them of total commitment to their service both at the National Assembly and their socioeconomic well-being come 2023.

Sardauna Duhu in an entourage alongside his campaign Director-General (DG), Mr. Usman Bukar, as well as friends and well-wishers, made an unprecedented convoy and toured the five local government areas.

At Gulak, headquarter of Madagali local government, the Senatorial hopeful in a warm welcome, he was given good reception as the APC executives of the area under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Yuguda Abubakar came out en mass to have him around.

Sardauna was praised to have a rudy face of hope to the people as according to his DG campaign, Usman Bukar all the while they are experiencing a hopeless representation as no one bothered to come back to show gratitude after he or she were elected.

Bukar assured them that Idris is a unique young man who has seen and done it all before he nursed the ambition of aspiring to be their Senator.

According to him many years ago Medugu have been a tireless philanthropist in supporting hundreds of Women and Youth in the area of Jobs creation, acquiring both local and international schools for many of the less privileged around, introducing empowerment programs to many across the five local governments.

Comments and eulogies were accorded to him by the party Executives of the five local governments to have known Medudu as a detribalized politician with a difference.

Overwhelmed with Sardauna’s declaration and words of hope, they reiterated that he came at the right time to salvage the Northern zone.

While praying for victory as he embark on the journey of canvassing votes from the electorates, they assured him of their tremendous support and unflinching cooperation.

His DG campaign, Bukar reiterated the need for them to vote for Hamisu at the coming APC party primary elections knowing the fact that he has been tested and trusted, a young man who has been contributing to the development of not only Adamawa North but Adamawa state at large.

He said his reason for deciding to work for Hamisu as his Campaign director is his disposition of working for the masses as a young man with the heart of gold and with a high sense of maturity.

In his remarks in all the five local government visited, Hamisu said he is their Son and Brother who presented himself for the service of humanity as one of the aspirants, counting on their votes and soliciting for their support.

Idris while congratulating them for coming victorious at the recently concluded party’s congresses, he assured them of being the man to beat as he has what it takes to represent them at the National Assembly with a mindset of rapid and massive development for the zone.
