Adamawa NPC Director retires from Service, says Fadimatu assumes duty on acting capacity

State Director of the Nigeria Population Commission (NPC), Abubakar Hamma-Adama in Adamawa have announced his retirement to the active service to the agency.

Hamma in a Statement he sent to this medium said after attaining the age of sixty and haven served for thirty three years appreciated the commission for giving him the opportunity.

While thanking the Chairman of the commission, the Director Generals and board members, he announced that Mrs Fadimatu Halidu Umar will assume office as
the new Acting State Director of Adamawa State NPC

“I wish to announced that I retired from service today 22nd September, 2023 as a State Director NPC Adamawa State after attaining the age of 60 and served for 33 years. I want to use this forum to express my appreciations to the Commission for giving me the opportunity to serve the Commission.

“My special thanks to the Chairman of the Commission, the Board Members, the DG, all Directors, and my colleagues, the State Directors.

“My Hon. Federal Commissioner Dr. Clifford T.O Zirra I thank you so much for the cordial working relationship I enjoyed with you. Truly you have proved be a leader of excellent by carrying everybody in the State.

“Finally, I thank all the entire Staff of NPC Yola for giving me cooperation, love and encouragement during my service years. Lastly, I wish the Commission a successful Digital Census, long life and prosperity.” Hamma said
