Adamawa NUT congratulates Gov Fintiri over supreme Court Verdict

The Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT has join millions of the good citizens of Adamawa state in felicitating with His Excellency ,the Executive Governor of Adamawa state,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over the recent victory at the Supreme.

The Union also extend hands of solidarity to Chief-of Staff,Dr.Emos Edgar,Head of Service of the state,Commissioner of Education,Dr.Umar Garba Pela and other stakeholders in the Education sector for standing by the Governor during the legal tussles.

A statement made available Newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa state capital and personally signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Atiku Buba on behalf of the leadership of NUT described the victory as overwhelming, particularly to all teachers in the state.

Atiku Buba said, the Governor,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri can now freely consolidate on the previous gains recorded so far ,calling on all the oppositions to join hands in building Adamawa state.

“Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s victory is a triumph over unnecessary litigations, let’s think of Adamawa first” the statement said.

It added that “Education has received a boost and the better is coming under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
“The victory is fior teachers and we are going to support him for an improved Educationinal sector.
The Government has been very sensitive to our plight and we are proud of his administration”.
Our presence at the Airport to show His Excellency the solidarity meant alot in the collective desire of the people of Adamawa state to support good governance.
He is a good leader per excellence hence the unprecedented crowd at the Yola international airport”.
