A People’s Democratic Party group, known as PDP New Generation has unveiled National Youth Campaign Council leadership that will chat a good campaign strategy for the coming 2023 elections.
A Press statement issued by the Adamawa State Secretary of the group, Mallam Gideon Buba to our Yola Correspondent unveiled the appointments of Hauwa Atiku-Uwais, Audu Mahmood, Yusuf Adamu Kofare, Danlami Adamu, Gideon Buba, Jimmy Stephen, Mary Frank, and Jibrilla Manga as new officials that will begin a massive campaign for the party at all levels.
According to the statement, those constituted Into the Youth Campaign Council Committee are politicians with an ebullient spirit, and capacity, capable of bringing victory to the PDP party at the national and state and down to, and polling units of every state.
The Press Release which was signed by Olawale Idris, National Secretary of PDP New Generation said Hauwa Atiku-Uwais is the Chairperson of the Council, Audu Mahood is the Director General and Comr Yusuf Adamu Kofare is the Deputy Director General (Northeast)
While the State Campaign Directorates has Hon. Danlami Adamu (Dynamite) was appointed as the Adamawa State Campaign Director, Hon. Jibrilla Manga was appointed as Adamawa North Campaign Director, Hon Jimmy Stephen, Adamawa Central Campaign Director; Hon. Mary Frank and Adamawa South Campaign Director were respectively appointed.
Mallam Gideon Buba is to be the State Secretary Campaign Director of the PDP New Generation.
The statement revealed that the Adamawa State PDP New Generation Excos from the state, local government, and wards levels down to unit levels as polling units managers are all members of the State Campaign Directorates.
“The campaign council is for the presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for the 2023 general elections.” The statement read
You would recall that the PDP New Generation have advocated for Young people in Nigeria to get involved in politics and choose their next set of leaders as the 2023 general elections draw nearer.
The statement recalled how Audu Mahmood, the director-general of the PDP New Generation said: “It is of significance to us because it is in line with the vision and mission of PDP New Generation to promote youth inclusion in political activities and governance for a better Nigeria.”
The PDP New Generation North-East Zonal Youth Summit is scheduled to hold on the 27th of November, in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital, as the group will organize other activities in other states of the North East
